pumpkins, and petting zoo

PUMPKIN PATCH AND PETTING ZOO!

So in the past few weeks quite a bit has happened.
Kevin, Ranae, Heather, Verona, Breanna and I went to the Pasco pumpkin patch a about two weeks ago and we had such a blast. The weather was beautiful and the girls were so adorable. We went on a hay ride out to a big field were i picked out a 42 lb pumpkin. It had to be big enough to fit Breanna when it was cleaned out. =) There was a petting zoo and the girls had so much fun. They saw pigs (oink oink) cows (Moo Moo) sheep (Baa Baa) Rabbits, And a reindeer.

For family home evening last week we decided it's about time to clean that big pumpkin out. We laid out card board and trash bags and started to gut it. Breanna was having so much fun she grabbed a handful of guts and if it fit in her mouth that's were it went lol Best FHE we've ever had.

The sad news is that the inside was bad. =(
The good news is.. I got 2 cups of seeds. Mmmm cooked and salted. The best.

THE FALL!!!

Well for those of you who don't know Breanna has had a Yeast infection off and on for the past 3-4 weeks and one thing that has been working great is bathing her after each BM. After her bath she loves to see herself in the mirror so i leaned her over to touch the mirror and she fell forward and hit her head on the counter shelf. (accident number 1.) I laid her on the couch and Put baby Einstein on to calm her down so i could get a diaper behind me. I turn around and see her in slow motion falling off the couch face first, not getting there in time she hits the foot stool with her face, and when i pick her up all i can see is the blood coming out of her mouth.
 Nik just left for school 5 mins before so i called him, he came home and we called to see if we should take her to the hospital kevin said to just put ice on it to slow the swelling. I couldn't stop crying i felt so bad and the whole day she was never out of my site and not allowed on anything. (accident Number 2) After i pulled myself together we drove over the grammy's house. I didn't want to be alone and i really needed a motherly hug. (Grammy gives the best hugs.)

The good thing is she didn't break a tooth all she got was a fat lip and a big line down her face from where she hit. I sure do love how fast Tylenol works. Yippee.

I was is shock all day and no matter what she was doing The fall kept replaying in my head.
It's been a long few weeks.
Whewww we made it out in one piece and we keep at life and do better each day.

The Rex family Happenings.

Well.... Here i am again stumped on what to right about, But its been over a month and i have to write something so here it goes.

Nik has been is school at WSU for this first semester and likes it as much as anyone really can like going to school. Blegg! haha. He is taking Anthropology, English 301 Principles of Rhetoric, and English 360 Rhetorical analysis, and Biology 140 Nutritional science
Hes been writing lots of papers and Tracking his food and physical activity's.    

 For the past few weeks Breanna has had a sever rash that continued to come back worse each time, Nothing work and it was getting frustrating that i couldn't figure out how to make it go away so like any parent looking for help i googled her symptoms up popped articles and questions about yeast infections, so i clicked and scrolled and soon enough all the signs pointed to just that. We called her pediatrician and she called in a percription for nystatin which is an anti fungal cream that takes about 3 or 4 days to really work. It may have worked for other kids but i tell ya this girl all things is stubborn like her mamma, It's tuff. Having a sick baby on top of a yeast infection is.. lets say... NOT FUN!!!

Today was the day i got my first MRI. They had Three test each 30 Mins long, Who know that taking pictures of someones back would take 1.5 hours haha funny right. So i spent my my time napping in a big loud machine in a cold room. What else am i suppose to do? I cant read a magazine lol. In the end i kept thinking...Why was i ever scared to do that? lol silly me. The down side to this story is laying in one position on your back for that long gets extremely uncomfortable fast. I cant move and my back start tingling and it feels like its on fire, Only 1 hour left till you can get up and move.

So Breanna's Birthday is coming up next month and Ive been trying to get some cute photos done for her invites but she does not stay in one place for long at all, and to save her life will not keep a head band or bow in her hair, Grrr i tell ya Grrr. =)
But nonetheless i love her no matter what, even with an infection she still seems to laugh when i tell her No. Silly Breanna Boo.

Long time no blog!

So many of you may be asking yourselves if  we have died or something happened to the Rex's, well i assure you we are very much alive and good. It's been several months since our last post and a lot has happened. Oh gosh were do i begin.


here are some things that have been happening. For those who don't know Breanna got her first top teeth in at 6 months and shortly after she got 5 more. Shortly after i stopped nursing She got a cold that became an ear infection. Man was that a test of or patients, but we made it to the end with most of the hair intact on our head. Last week was a busy one for the Rex's. Kenzy got married on Friday September 31 and getting ready for the wedding of your first daughter is CRAZY! haha Ranea made the girls matching bubble dresses which were so darn cute. The wedding was a hit and after was a nice little luncheon catered by fiesta. The reception is this Saturday.  

One thing i love about being a stay at home mom is all the time i have behind the camera taking pictures of my little angel. i set up a corner for photo shoots and i just have a blast.

Last week i invited my sister in law heather and her daughter Verona over to take some pictures and it was so much fun watching the girls play together. Verona is walking now and its so cute to see breanna want  to follow her cousin. 

Breanna will be 10 months this Sunday, I cant believe how time fly's by.
She love pulling her self up on everything and climbing over pillows. It's to cute.
Yesterday i put her hair up for the first time and it was so perfect.

Sorry you had to hear me blaab on and on about breanna, as for Nik, He started classes at WSU taking an anthropology class and a writing class. No luck on the job searching. work is hard to find right now.


As for the Rex's thats the newer happenings in our lives.
